Subgroups

In addition to our monthly meetings, South Jersey Investors provides a range of subgroups that are specific to county, making these groups a MUST for those looking to invest in these areas. Each group provides the opportunity to learn and network with other investors and businesspeople. Come prepared to learn!

Mercer County Subgroup
This brand new group is for Mercer County investors. This group will focus on the opportunities, growth, and issues in the Mercer County area, including Trenton. Networking will begin at 6:30pm and speakers will start at 7:00pm and lasting until 8:30pm.

Landlording
The landlord Sub-Group topics will include but not be limited to the following: preparation of the apt. or house, successful advertising, phone techniques, tenant credit, previous landlord and criminal check, lease preparation, security deposit accounting (both deposit and return to tenants) move in and move out procedures, tenant management, tenant retention, eviction, property accounting, tax planning & preparation, creating sales contracts (buying and selling), 1031 exchanges and other topics of your choice. Each month 1-3 of these topics will be discussed in detail. Other seasoned investors and other vendors will share their expertise and knowledge.

NEW INVESTORS, START HERE. We cover the basics of real estate investing for the novice investor, including how to earn a profit, and avoiding common pitfalls of newbie investors.
